Well, I obviously should have looked ahead and made sure I checked the blog entry requirements for this module so I didn't have to go back after we'd already decided what we were doing for our fun project. HOWEVER, I did look at some other videos before I'd made the suggestion of us playing Pictionary, so I 'll show you some of the ones I'd considered for us :)
The first was songifying something.. like Schmoyoho does. I ultimately decided against this one for the group project, as these tend to be funnier whenever the songified thing is something from the news or a speech, etc. If we did it ourselves, I felt like it might be too forced and end up being counterproductive (in the sense that, in trying to make it funny, we'd make it not funny).
I also considered something like this. I decided against this because, honestly, I couldn't figure out how to do it :) I also didn't think it would be very collaborative-- I worried one person would end up doing a large portion of the work and that just seemed unfair and missing the point of the project.
So, as you all know, I ended up suggesting the Pictionary game. And while it wasn't as easy to put together as I'd thought (I knew there would be snags and whatnot, but it seemed not to go neeearly as smooth as I'd envisioned), I think it turned out pretty good! I'm going to post the video on my YouTube and then embed it on my blog once I get it a little more edited.
